Meditation for Productivity

Meditation is a wonderful practice. It can calm your mind, renew your spirit, and find ways to better your mental health. What about meditation for productivity? Is it a thing? Well, I’m here to say that it is! In fact, I would never have thought this was possible until I started doing mini meditations when I started to get stuck producing at both work and home. This week, I want to discuss how to add meditation to your daily routine so you can ramp up your productivity in AND out of the office!

Meditation for Productivity

This sounds like a great concept, right? How does it work? Simply put, it’s about setting aside time for mini meditation sessions throughout the day. All you need is 1-2 minutes a few times a day to help boost your mind’s clarity. By boosting the clarity of your mind, you can be more productive. That’s because you’re not juggling so many competing mental priorities. Squeezing in 8-10 minutes of mini meditations per day may boost in your mental capacity and therefore, in your productivity.

Additionally, meditation for productivity has been studied and there seems to be some correlation between the two. Check out this article for more information! Simply slowing your mind down can potentially lead to better, more productive days is certainly a wonderful concept. Showing the most stressed out person in the office how to get out from under water by using meditation could be a game changer.

Why Do I Want to Do This?

Finally, incorporating the simple activity of meditation into your routine may mean increased productivity! A clear mind means clear vision. We all know how valuable those can be. I encourage everyone to incorporate meditation into their day to be the most productive they can be! In the meantime, check out my article on the benefits of meditation or even my piece about meditation in the office!
