Of all the beverages we consume each day, tea may not be your first thought. Most of us drink coffee each morning, but tea has wonderful health and wellness benefits. Here are 5 teas for your holistic wellness.

My Top 5 Teas For Your Holistic Wellness

  • Lavender-Great for calming down after a long day, or if you just need a bit of “me time”.
  • Chamomile-Perfect for help sleeping. It’s also great when paired with lavender.
  • Earl Grey-The bergamot and black tea is great as a coffee substitute. Black tea has wonderful antioxidants.
  • Ginger-Most of us know that ginger is great to tame the stomach. It’s also a warming herb that helps in other parts of the body. It makes this one a GREAT option for wellness!
  • Tulsi-This is an herb from India. It’s a light one and is sometimes called a “hug in a mug” when brewed. It has a warm, sort of nutty flavor and can help your body to relax. It also has other properties but there are some warnings for certain people. Click here to see a great article that breaks it down! I do recommend talking to your doctor before adding this one to your rotation, especially if you are on certain medications for blood pressure or diabetes.

These are just a few of my favorites. The only one that has caffeine is Earl Grey. If you haven’t figured it out, this list is all about the body’s response to certain teas.

    1. Thank you!! Medicinal teas are super helpful and can get quite creative. Tulsi is a wonderful herb, as long as you don’t have any issues that would make it unfavorable to you! Hope you enjoyed your time in the Grotto!
